CE Marking
It is a criminal offence to supply products in Europe
that do not satisfy the Construction Products Regulations. For fittings
intended for use on fire/smoke and escape doors CE marking is the easiest
method to demonstrate compliance. The building control officer or other
approved inspector will require proof of this compliance.

CE Marking brochure.
